between @Arrimage Good'\u00eeles<\/a>, @Perspectives Femmes et Avenir en Guyan<\/a>e and @D'Antilles & D'Ailleurs<\/a> in Martinique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EUROPE DIRECT relay aims to collectively create a strong European footprint within the outermost regions of the three territories: French Guiana, Martinique and Guadeloupe!
The Guadeloupe information office, located at 11 rue Schoelcher in Pointe \u00e0 Pitre, serves as a resource and documentation center for European citizens in the French West Indies and Guyana. It also acts as an intermediary between the various existing European institutions and local citizens, actively encouraging debate and fostering the development of local Europe-oriented initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center also acts as a local spokesperson for the Commission, helping it to keep abreast of current events. At the heart of these objectives lies the promotion of active European citizenship in schools, the creation of synergy with other European Union networks, and raising awareness of various local issues relating to Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of strengthening the sense of belonging to the European project, the EDCs organize activities in the form of a proactive, ongoing dialogue with the citizens of overseas France. Making informed choices about the future of the European Union, and being involved in the European democratic process, are important and significant civic missions that need to be learned and shared with as many people as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, the missions below are designed to provide a better understanding of how the European Union and its parliamentary democracy work. All this by highlighting its added value, the political aspects of the European Union that are of prime importance at local level, adapting messages and activities to local needs and requirements so that the priorities of the Commission and Parliament are received on a prepared and solid basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It enables them to answer all kinds of questions relating to the European Union (whether online or in person). The organization of events and workshops is also one of their missions, in order to strengthen the links between the citizens of the French West Indies and Guyana and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
