«Mon île, mon territoire #je m'engage!» is a pilot project in Guadeloupe that aims to support and guide young Guadeloupeans under the age of 30, through an innovative scheme, towards the creation and development of companies/activities within the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). 
In the post-Covid period, this innovative initiative is intended to be an alternative response to unemployment and job insecurity among young people in our region, while offering them the opportunity to develop social and solidarity-based activities to meet tomorrow's societal and environmental needs.

  • Supporting and accompanying innovative initiatives and SSE-related projects*. of NEET young people under 30 with personalized support to bring your projects to fruition and financial backing of up to €5,000.  
  • Facilitating the creation and development of activities in the Social and Solidarity Economy by young people 
  • Reinforce the commitment of young Guadeloupeans to issues linked to the Social Solidarity Economy.

Flagship action 1 - Identifying young NEET under 30 with SSE projects 

  • Launch of the regional competition «Mon île, mon territoire # je m'engage!» 
  • Information workshops (Cité des métiers, CRIJ Guadeloupe, ER2C, community centers, etc.) 
  • A multi-channel communication campaign is being launched on social networks and traditional media, focusing on the objectives and results of the «Mon île, mon territoire # je m'engage!» support scheme. .

Flagship action 2 - Social incubator 

  • Training and support for 20 young NEET project leaders under 30 living in Guadeloupe enrolled in the scheme. 
  • Theoretical & practical training on SSE entrepreneurship 
  • Work placements in a local SSE company and a European company (Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Portugal) 
  • 30 young entrepreneurs received theoretical and practical training in the fundamentals of entrepreneurship
  • 10 young people benefited from entrepreneurship support, including professional and personal coaching (see list of projects).
